Well Ive decided that this will be one of the last few blogs ill be writing on this topic. But if any person has genuine queries about IIPM ill be more than happy to reply back. All you have to do is write your question and post ur mail ID at comments section. I promise ill reply immediately.

One of the reasons ive decided to not to continue with the placement news that Im not just able to keep track of the companies coming ......and students recruited.

And the other reason is that I think with hoards of organisation coming for placements every week I no longer have to justify anything. So if any1 in the seven cities (where there is a IIPM tower) is interested please go and check the notice boards where names of the person recruited and the organisation's name is mentioned.

For people who refuse to believe the facts that I write ....and really leave some sad comments.... I guess I cant do anything about them.... they are just that SAD.

The following is only indicative list of the past 1 month placements( as I was out of town, I've missed quite a few)

Status of CapitalOne(US placement): 3 IIPM Delhi students have reached through the final round after 4 screening rounds. their names are Arnab Datta Chaudhari,Nitish Kumar and Dhruva Poonia.

Im missing out on many companies such as HBE eng. which for a fact I know had come day before yesterdayy and shortlisted 5 students for final round..... as I said earlier its getting really tough to keep track of things.
(Oops my friend just told me that HBE has taken 2 students.....there u c exactly what I was trying to tell ya )

These all in two weeks......................My mailbox is bursting at the seams.

I just checked mailbox till now IIPM Delhi has been visited by 140 companies.... ofcorse not every 1 recruited ...and some came with offers and job profile not attractive enough. But for the sake of stats........ya its 140 and still counting, the 140th being UTI Bank.

As said earlier this will be one of my last blogs on this topic..... I dont want my blog to become just an IIPM news bulletin....I'll definitelyy write if something interesting happens. Also, will try and conclude the entire placement scenario with overall stats and figs.At the end of placement season to best of my abilities.

IIPM placement updates 2006

hmm .... not being in Delhi hurts my Blog..... not only Im not regular with net.

Im also unable to get the final picture about placement scene down there. I get mails only about new companies coming to campus, their offers and shortlisted students but im not getting the students who r finally selected through the yahoo group mails.

And I dont want to hazard a guess...... I know my blog is read read by a lot of juniors as well as prospective students..... so I have the responsibility of being nothin but truthful.

I will reply to some of the queries put up in comments here.

1) Oracle took 6 students with a package of around 5.6 +L p.a. I cannot name all the students but 2 students I know personally 1 is Soju Vergeese. He was my flat mate in the first yr, he hails from Coimbatore.Has done his B.E in computers.
ALL the students have been placed for bangalore.

2)Highest Indian package offered till now is by ONeil Softwares Ltd. of 6 Lakhs p.a. Though a batchmate of mine has got an offer of 8L p.a. from an asset management company through a PPO(pre-placement offer).
The packages in IIPM mumbai and bangalore has infact been better.

3) A huge number of my batchmates have already got or joined the jobs through PPOs (or applying on their own) . Most of these are the organisation are the places where they did their summers.these are some of the big name orgz giving on an avg. package of 3-6 L p.a. After I go back to delhi i'll write more about them.(My present flatmate enjoying one such dream job)
